Public dental health services in Norway are organised by the county council. All children under the age of 18 are entitled to free public dental treatment (excluding orthodontic treatment), so are the mentally challenged, chronically ill, and people receiving home nursing assistance. The clinics also offer treatment to the general public.
The Public Dental Care Services in Oppland have 27 clinics in 6 districts. The clinics vary in size and are located in both urban and rural areas in the county.
